Rowan took his first birthday theme to heart as he truly was “One Happy Boy!” He smiled and laughed during our entire session and I had such fun with him and his parents as we captured these first birthday memories. He loved the balloons, all the special chairs, and most certainly being held by his parents for their family portraits. Plus his cake was truly smashed!

We’ve done previous birthday sessions for the girls, and it was fun to see how much the sisters have grown and watch their personalities interact with each other. Avril did a butterfly theme with both pinks and fairies, and it was the perfect girly mix for her and her sisters.

Read MoreIsaac came in for his first birthday photos ready to rock with our jungle theme and little touches to give it a Hawaiian vibe. He did so great for all this outfit changes, trying cake for the first time, and ending with a bath - it’s tough work taking pictures when you’re just a little guy! But he rocked each part and I enjoyed spending time with his family for such special photos.
