Samara's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Samara was another happy baby in the studio last week! She truly had the cutest giggle that sounded almost like “he he he” - it was adorable. We had such fun with her fairy theme and pearls, and ended with a splash bath where she showed off her best smiles.

To celebrate Samara’s first birthday, her parents selected two girly backgrounds to coordinate with her fairy butterfly and flower dress and our bath. We started with the fairy door and Samara had a great time sorting the pearl necklaces in and out of the cup.

Samara was already quite steady on her feet and walking, so we all got a workout in catching her and keeping her in our photo zone. But when I pulled out the puff snacks she would sit and do anything we wanted as long as the snacks kept coming.

She did great sitting in all the toddler chairs and baskets, and even showed off her balance with a few standing photos with just her on the floor before she walked over to mom.

Then we changed up our scene for her splash bath photos with the light pink and white flower columns. I love how feminine and soft this background is, and it was a great fit for this sweet girl’s final photos.

Samara wasn’t really into the splashing part of the bath, but she loved the toys, the yellow ducks, and really started to chuckle at us while we took photos. I found that when I laughted back at her, she would giggle more and we got so many giant grins and smiles.

A very happy first birthday to this special girl! I had such fun with you to celebrate this milestone.
