Soren's First Birthday Sneak Peek

This little guy is celebrating his first birthday in style! He was such a sweetheart and he was a bit shy at the beginning, but his parents rallied around him capturing lots of great family portraits and in the end the cake totally won him over. Yay!

Soren was such a cutie when he came in and he gave me a hug right away. He was such a trooper with all the new things going on, being in a new place, meeting me, and then seeing the big camera equipment and lights.

He needed some hugs and snuggles from mom at the start, but that just means we captured some beautiful photos of the two of them together, plus a bonus family pic with the blue background.

Then we transitioned over to family portraits with the classic white background, and Soren shared a few sneaky smiles or some adorable pictures of him sucking his thumb. Even though he needed mom and dad a bit more, that truly worked to then take the beautiful pictures with both his parents.

When it was time for the cake smash, Soren was still unsure about all that was happening around him. But after some time to explore and encouragement from his parents, he decided that the cake was delicious - especially the icing! Plus the best part was that he relaxed at the end and we snagged the best pictures of his adorable smile!

What a way to celebrate, and I wish Soren the very best first birthday!
