Fallon's Maternity Sneak Peek

I so enjoyed my evening with this lovely couple during their maternity session as they eagerly await the arrival of their first baby in the coming months. The weather wasn’t too terribly cold, we still had a few patches of snow, and a beautiful winter sunset to cap it off - not a bad way to spend an evening!

Fallon and her husband, Josh, were such good sports as I asked them to walk around the area and try different poses or angles while I adjusted lighting. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to be outside for maternity pictures, perfectly sandwiched between two winter storms.

We started with the green pinery area and the evergreen trees which are always a winner year round. Sometimes in winter it’s a balance between the gorgeous light and bare trees, but we definitely found that this evening with the sun coming through the pine needles and landing on the remnants of snow on the ground.

Fallon had a beautiful black dress to show off her baby bump and was a trooper as I had her walk though snow, sit on a cold rock, or stand next to a cold metal railing. She really rocked it! And her husband was a great support carrying bags or hopping in and out as I changed things or made adjustments.

It all ended with one of those amazing Colorado winter sunsets over the mountains where we captured some final images of the two of them and just Fallon against the gorgeous light.

I so enjoyed getting to finally meet this couple and can’t wait to see them again soon, next time with a brand new baby in tow.
