After several little boys in the studio, I got to pull out the pink and purple for Miss Lily. Mom wanted all things girly for her first little girl, and I had fun setting out the headbands and flowers for Lily's photography debut.
My own daughter, Lily, was thrilled to have a baby coming with her name. She helped set everything up and made sure I wrote Lily's name correctly on my welcome sign. She also personally selected every pink and purple headband that I own (I had to sneak a few back right before the session). She loves helping set up for sessions, but this one was especially meaningful for her.
Lily slept like a dream as we did family photos and a few with her big brother. He was champ at having a big camera in his face and did such a great job snuggling his new baby sister. He also thought I was funny (or just crazy) when I sneezed to get him to smile. I went with a floral theme for Lily since it was so perfectly girly and went with her name. I enjoyed incorporating some pink flowers throughout the different set-ups and bringing in a floral overlay with my moon prop. She looked just precious perched there with the butterfly wings!
A big congrats to this new family of four on your new little girl. Enjoy all those baby snuggles from Lily!
