Avyann First Birthday Sneak Peek

Avyaan had a fabulous first birthday session in the studio this past week! He was a little serious toward the beginning, saving smiles for his parents, but he really warmed up by the end of his splash bath and we captured the full range of his expressions.

We started with family portraits with his parents and older brother and everyone looked fantastic in their tan and white coordinating outfits. He got to also build towers with the blocks with his brother and we captured a few great sibling pictures of the brothers together.

Then it was Avyaan’s time to shine and he got to take solo first birthday photos with the beautiful balloon arch his mom made among the teddy bears and other neutral props. He loved trying the chairs and showing of his standing skills, but we had to be quick while he was “trapped” in the basket as he was quick to escape.

Then we went into his cake smash where he preferred to play with the cake topper and take it off then place it back in a new spots. He did give the cake a solid try, eating some of the frosting, and his brother even got in on the action and tried to show him how good it was.

We ended with a splash bath and let Avyaan play with a few rubber ducks in my little toddler clawfoot tub. He wasn’t much of a splasher, but he loved the bath! He sorted the toys, smiled, clapped, and laughed and we got our best smiles of the session at the end of the special bath.

I wish this little guy a truly wonderful first birthday - I so enjoyed getting to be part of these special memories.
