Ava & Zoe's 2nd Birthday Sneak Peek

I had such fun with Ava and Zoe’s birthday photos to celebrate their second birthday! Her mom wanted to do a full Star Wars Attack of the Clones theme and I, as a massive Star Wars fan, couldn’t have been more excited. The girls had adorable little Rey costumes and the perfect triple bun to match and we all got in our exercise wrangling the twins that morning for these fun photos.

Ava and Zoe have been so funny as each time they come to the studio, one likes me and is excited to take photos, and the other wants nothing to do with the situation. And the girls switch who’s who each time! But we were able to pull out lots of toys and snacks to help them get comfortable and have a fun, and I love how it all turned out.

We started off with some individuals with the girls and they held their green lightsabers and sat in the different toddler chairs. We also were able to get a quick pick of them happy together as they bonded over snacks - always a winner!

I also pulled out my blocks and a tea set as they absolutely LOVED those toys and we adults figured after a long day of Jedi training they needed a tea party snack as a reward.

At the very end I remembered my son had a droid he built and I’d found it earlier that morning, but he’d taken apart all the pieces to rebuild it. Turns out that was even better than the full R2-D2 model droid as the girls had fun trying to put the pieces together and we captured the little Jedi in training during their “droid class”.

Truly a fun morning with these twins and a dream to photograph my Star Wars background with such fun little models! These clones sure are ready for their second year!
