Willow's First Birthday Sneak Peek
I had such a blast with Willow and her mom earlier this week for her first birthday pictures! I had last seen them for Willow’s newborn session and now she’s walking, smiling, and into everything - I love it! Plus she tried out a brand new background which perfectly matched her dress and we added extra glam with the princess carriage and lights. A perfect setting for this little princess’ first birthday!
Willow had a beautiful cream colored dress with a puffy tulle skirt and sequins. She was quick to be up on her feet and on the move so I gave her a few pearl necklaces to sit with and she had such fun sorting them in and out of the cup or trying them on. She loved them so much that she then carried them everywhere and so the beads just followed her to all the chairs and props.
The new background with the white flowers and gold accents was just a perfect match for Willow’s dress, and it created a scene fit for a fairy princess. She had fun walking around the princess carriage, sorting flowers, and, of course, carrying the necklaces around.
We then switched over to another favorite background with the pink and gold balloons and butterflies. Willow had a second pink ruffle dress to match her cake, and while she wasn’t truly interested in the sugary treat, she did have fun walking around and rearranging the props. She was so active it was a fun challenge to keep her entertained with the cake or treats, so the beads came to the rescue once again and she had fun putting them on and walking around the carriage.
It was a workout and a blast to be part of these happy memories for Willow! I wish her the very happiest first birthday and I hope your cake comes with new bead necklaces.
