Simmy's 6 Month Sneak Peek

Simmy came into the studio last week with her mom for a fun combination of holiday pictures and girly 6 month baby milestone pictures. She was unsure about the new environment but she really did a wonderful job letting us dress her up and get both of those backgrounds and outfits to capture this special milestone moment.

We started with the gingerbread house background and Simmy had an adorable little velvet Santa dress with fur trim to match. Her mom even had a few options on headbands or festive holiday clips that we swapped out.

Simmy did amazing at showing off her new “sitting skills” and she perched on the cedar sled like champ. She got to play with a lantern and a few oversized ornaments, but by far her favorite things were the beads. There’s always something about those that mesmerizes babies!

We also did a few overhead pictures of Simmy on a soft blanket and she was so close to grabbing her toes for a picture but kept toying with us. She did show off her big beautiful eyes and we got a few curious faces as she kept tabs on mom.

For our last set of pictures we changed completely over to a very simple yet girly set with my white background, flowers, lights, and Simmy coordinated in a pink dress with flower overlay. By this point she was getting tired, but those magical pearls came to the rescue again and let us finish up strong with not only some adorable pictures in her dress but even a few with mom (cause mom makes everything better!)

I so loved getting to meet this family and sweet Simmy! She truly was a great little model and I’d love to see her back down the road for more pictures
