Janiah's Senior Sneak Peek

Janiah had a great fall evening for her senior session last week right before we got our first snow of the season. We had great moody clouds that really matched the vibe in the open field, and I had fun getting to know Janiah and bringing her photos and vision to life.

We hadn’t exactly planned it but there was a gorgeous area that still had golden leaves on the branches right as we were close to our first location. So we quickly called an audible and stopped to capture some quick pictures with the fall leaves as they were just such a great compliment for Janiah’s red hair.

Afterwards we finished our drive up to our main location and Janiah got to show off her boots and we walked around to a few places with evergreens and stone features.

Then Janiah had a great black dress with tulle fabric on top and wanted some moody type of pictures with her dress. I had such fun trying some new angles in a location I frequently visit and getting to play with the lighting from the clouds.

But our favorites was after walking down the hill to the native grasses near the big windmill. We captured some truly epic and stunning portraits of her standing in the grass and then later on the top of the hill with the clouds and cold front rolling in.

I truly had a blast with this family and creating something different and special just for her. I wish you all the best in your senior year!
