Archer's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Archer was another happy little guy in the studio to celebrate his first birthday. The last I’d seen him and his family he was just a week old, and he’s grown into a smiley, happy baby who had eyes for his mom and adored his big sisters, even if the didn’t quite like the texture of cake.

I loved this fun camping background his mom selected for Archer’s first birthday photos. He had a cute little overall outfit for his nice pictures, and he especially loved the pinecones and lanterns to play with. He also really had fun on the curved white toddler chair, grinning and kicking his legs.

When we got to the cake, he gave it a good solid chance at liking it and seeing how it tasted. But his face quickly was one of surprise and he decided the taste wasn’t worth getting messy or getting his fingers dirty. His sweet sisters came to his rescue and truly tried to give him bites and encourage him to dig in, but he was much happier just to sit with them and let hem eat his cake. And in the end he just simply said he was done, and pleasantly got in his mom’s lap.

I can’t say how much I love getting to see little newborns again as they grow and change, and it was such fun to see Archer and the little peeks into his personality. I wish you the happiest birthday and hope you got a special, less messy, food you enjoy.
