Mackenzie's Birthday Splash Bath Sneak Peek

Mackenzie has grown into quite an adorable toddler since the last time I saw her! She’s now full of personality and was sneakier with sharing her smiles this time around. But we were still able to capture first birthday photos that celebrated her spunk and style with a splash bath at the end.

We started with nice photos in a cute blue dress. I adore blue on girls, and it was such a perfect dress for Mackenzie and her red hair in pigtails. She passed out pearl necklaces to everyone and sorted and organized them in a few different containers. And we were able to quickly snag a few of her with my curved wooden chair before she was off and walking again.

Mackenzie also took some time to eat a snack while organizing the beads on my small stool. I really had to be fast as she loved exploring the studio and walking around to pass out beads and check in with her mom.

We then switched over to the little tub for a splash bath and the pink lemonade background. Mackenzie stayed in the water for a brief stint since there were lemon slices and a yellow duck in the water. But then she wanted out and again, preferred to share the duck with everyone and then also add the necklaces to the water, remove them, and repeat.

Still, she was adorable sorting and organizing from the sides of the tub, so we captured those precious pics of her just being herself!

A big thanks to this family for trusting me with these special photos - it was wonderful to see you all again and how much Mackenzie has grown.
