Serena's Newborn Sneak Peek
I had another precious little girl in the studio last week! Serena was a perfect model in all things pink and purple and she loved being curled up in a ball whether it was on the bean bag or tucked in the heart bowl.
Serena had pinks and lavender colors for her girly newborn photo session. We pulled out the flower hats and I had fun adding in floral lace and wraps to make her photo special. Plus I loved all her dark hair and styling it for her pictures with all the various headbands.
We did classic newborn girl photos with ruffles and Serena was a wonderful sleeper the entire time. In fact, her dad was able to come in at the end and click the buttons on my camera on the tripod so we could capture the chin in hands pose. It’s always special to be able to take that pose as it requires sleepy babies who don’t mind being on their tummy and several images composited together to make the final image.
It turns out her parents are friends of another little girl who had newborn photos earlier this year- how fun for all these girls to grow up together! Plus her aunt was there so we got a girl only photo with the adult sisters and the newest little one.
A big congrats to this family on your precious Serena! It was a joy to work with you and meet her at last!
