Zion and Zarielle's Thing 1 and Thing 2 Birthday Sneak Peek

I continued the twin theme last weekend, this time with an adorable pair turning one. Their mom requested the special Dr. Seuss inspired background and had the cutest little Thing 1 and Thing 2 outfits for her twins. Then we celebrated with a special dual cake smash with coordinating crowns!

Zion and Zarielle truly were amazing little models for their first birthday photo session. Zarielle seemed to take to the camera a little more than her brother, showing off some great smiles, but Zion held his own and did give a few sneaky smiles.

Their knit Thing 1 and Thing 2 outfits were a perfect match against the Dr. Seuss background and I loved the blue hats that completed their wardrobe! The babies even kept them on long enough for a few photos of them checking out the lights inside my lanterns before deciding they much preferred the hats off.

We ended with a simple yet adorable cake smash for the two of them. Zarielle was precious in a pink tutu and big pearls with her pink “one” crown. Then Zion had cute blue suspenders and a matching blue crown. I think Zarielle dove into the cake a little more and enjoyed it by the fistful, while Zion slowly gave it a try and eventually decided sugar wasn’t all that bad.

These twins were so much fun and I had a blast creating their unique first birthday photos. A big thank you to their family for celebrating with me and letting me be part of preserving these memories.
