Eva's Newborn Sneak Peek

I’m so excited that I got to photograph little Eva before our giant snowstorm in Denver! Her mom and I went back and forth on finding that perfect window before the snow to get her into the studio, and she was a perfect little model the entire time for her pink and purple newborn photo session.

I met this lovely family over the holidays during my Christmas minis, and it was wonderful to see them again, especially big sister Elise. She was literally jumping for joy at how much she loved her new baby sister and how excited she was to take photos with her. She did a marvelous job laying down with Eva on the blanket and sitting next to the moon prop. I truly think Elise would have stayed in front of the camera the entire time if she’d been allowed!

We captured lots of great family photos along with pictures including grandma. Then I spent the remainder of our time with a very sleepy baby who was comfortable with anything. I was able to capture some images of Eva in the heart bowl and on the blanket, as well as with two fabrics in a rose pink and lavender. Eva’s mom requested the butterfly headband and little flower hat on the bum, so those were a given.

Then at the very end, Eva was still so deeply asleep we captured the perfect froggie pose with her head resting on her cheeks plus she was the first to try out my new balloon prop. I’m just so glad it all worked out to get her and the entire family into the studio when we did, and I am so honored to be part of such special photos for this family.
