Ascher's Newborn Boy Sneak Peek

This sweet little boy came into the studio this weekend with family over the weekend and it was such a joy to take his newborn photos. His older brother and sister were just adorable, and truly did a fabulous job listening and following directions. We got so many amazing sibling photos that I cannot wait to share with the family!

Ascher was a terrific sleeper, only needing to stop once to eat and then he fell right back to sleep. We did a different set up for his family and moon photos, and I love how they turned out. The window background lent and intimate feeling to the photos and almost like a nursery type image of him on the moon.

We did classic blue and grey colors for Ascher, with some adorable long sleeper caps and knit pants, plus other knit hats. He didn’t mind being in the bucket and was so asleep I added extra supports for under his elbows to keep him from shifting as he breathed. We finished on the bean bag with two of my favorite fabrics and a matching wrap. Ascher did wake up right at the end as I was taking the composite images for the froggie. But he was silently opening his eyes, so I just went with it and now his gallery includes that special image of him awake.

A big congrats to this family on your new addition! I know that adding that third child can be a challenging transition and I must say you guys seem to be rocking it. Enjoy your sweet little boy.
