Harper's First Birthday Splash Bath

Sweet Harper was all smiles for her birthday photo session to celebrate turning one year old. She had a few adorable outfits and we ended with a simple and perfect splash bath for her complete with fall leaves, a pumpkin, and of course rubber duckies.

Harper’s mom requested a simple set up for her daughter to keep it really focused on her. And boy was she cute! She had a soft and snuggly white dress and headband to start that was adorable for with a slight pumpkin theme. And she loved standing and holding onto the princess carriage for a few pictures, too.

She also had a soft pink coat with a matching bonnet, so we pulled out the pink and wintery background with a little snow. Harper had fun pulling snowflakes off the carriage and rearranging them, and she did a great job sitting in a basket. I had to be fast as she was super stead on her feet and a fabulous little walker, and she would happily sit for a few seconds then happily wander off.

We ended with a milk bath for her to celebrate her birthday, and Harper enjoyed the warm water and playing with the rubber duckies. She was mildly curious about the leaves and pumpkin, but she gave us a solid 5 minutes before deciding she wanted to be on the move again. Overall it was wonderful session and I can’t wait to share these special pictures with her family.
