Connor's Senior Sneak Peek

Connor was beyond excited to have his senior pictures taken over the weekend - just kidding, he was a normal high school boy who was there for his mom. BUT that said, Connor was a trooper with outfit changes and moving around for various photos, so I have to give him props for being so cooperative. I try not to make it too painful and I hope you agree it wasn’t all that bad, wink wink.

Connor’s mom has a fondness for our neighborhood and how rustic it looks with the ponderosa pines, mountain views, and overall Colorado feel. I must say I agree, as the same things that drew her to live in this neighborhood are the same things that drew me to also live here. In fact, her kids attended the same elementary school that my kids attend. So we spent time focusing on what makes this family feel at home and like themselves. I told Connor several times, if something feels award we won’t do it. We want your photos to be genuine to who you are.

At the end we did a very special stop at Connor’s house where his parents have a unique limestone wall in the backyard. His mom explained how meaningful it is for them, and I imagine it’s been a place where her kids spent a lot of time playing. So we were sure to capture those memories with such a special background. Then I had Connor get his baseball bat and I think his personality really came out when allowed to take some sporting photos. I even edited a few with a fun “grunge” feel.

Connor, thanks for truly being awesome during our session. I hope you get to play baseball for your senior season and best of luck on your last year in high school!
