Zvonek Family Winter Sneak Peek

This lovely family came out for some new winter family pictures at one of my favorite locations. They mentioned they haven’t had full family portraits in forever since their kids were little, and mom and dad hadn’t really had pictures since their wedding. So it was great to be able to capture new memories of all their kids and the whole family together.

We started with some photos including their dog, who was extremely well behaved and did a great job looking at the camera. Then we got some formals and candids of various family groups so all parents got to be in photos with their kids. We also grabbed individuals of each child and they were great listeners and even laughed at my silly joke.

With the holiday decorations up around the area, I love taking photos with the big wooden door this time of year. The garland perfectly frames everyone and we were able to take lots of photos with the family, kids, and even some of just parents alone! (Since I know from experience that hardly ever happens.)

There was also a beautiful winter sunset and their oldest specifically asked for a sun flare photo of the sun coming through the trees behind them. I love how it all came together with the small patches of snow on the ground, mountain views, and the sunset. What a great way to end a session and I hope it felt painless for them as the whole family sure made my job easy!
