Avery's Newborn Sneak Peek

Miss Avery was a last minute addition to my week, but I'm so glad it worked out for her family to come in and get some adorable newborn photos of this precious girl. With gorgeous hair like hers, she definitely deserves to have pictures to remember all those little curls and waves!  She was absolutely perfect during her session, and she did great for all her big prop and bucket poses as well as sleepy beanbag portraits. Her mom also let me play with colors, so I decided to do a classic pink and white session, adding in a few new headbands I've collected this month for my own little girl who is due to make her arrival in the next few weeks.

I also tried a new floral set up with my curved white bench, and it looked beautiful for a little girl. The pinks and whites really accented her creamy skin, and there was plenty of room for big brother to get close for his sibling photos as well as kneel behind her. Speaking of big brother, I'd be hard pressed to find a more agreeable little three-year old! He was wonderful at following directions, smiling, and being extra gentle with his baby sister. I can tell he's a big help at home! My own little three year old is mainly helpful "when he feels like it", so let's just say I anticipate a more lively set of sibling photos with my kids next month!

A big thanks to this family and mom for bringing in Avery yesterday for her newborn photos. I'm so glad it worked out to get her in this week and preserve this special time for her.

Want to book your newborn photography session? It’s never too early! Newborn sessions are best when they take place within 5-14 days after baby’s birth so request to get on my calendar at the beginning of your second trimester to guarantee time around your estimated due date.
