Sweet little Christian and his family came into the studio earlier this week for his photography debut. He was such a precious little guy and he did a fabulous job sleeping through his session, even after driving here from Northglenn on the other side of Denver.

Her mom wanted to keep it sweet and simple for Isla’s one year baby milestone session, and I loved the simple whites, flowers, and the gorgeous floral hoops she bought to incorporate into the session. Plus Isla was adorable in her little overalls before and during her cake smash.

I had been eyeing a gorgeous new jungle type background for a while, and when his mom mentioned the theme I was beyond excited to go overboard with the backdrop and adding in other props to match.

I’m so glad his family rescheduled and we got to capture these precious memories of their sweet boy. We even got to celebrate with cake at the end, and who doesn’t love cake.

She slept the entire time and was perfectly content anywhere I posed her: beanbag, moon prop, even the silver bucket. She also had the most adorable little cheeks and baby rolls along her back when she was all curled up, and that is certainly one benefit of being an older newborn!
