I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I last saw Miss Isla and her family. She is just as cute and full of spunk, plus some of the best sassy looks I’ve seen. Her mom wanted to keep it sweet and simple for Isla’s one year baby milestone session, and I loved the simple whites, flowers, and the gorgeous floral hoops she bought to incorporate into the session. Plus Isla was adorable in her little overalls before and during her cake smash.

I had been eyeing a gorgeous new jungle type background for a while, and when his mom mentioned the theme I was beyond excited to go overboard with the backdrop and adding in other props to match.

I’m so glad his family rescheduled and we got to capture these precious memories of their sweet boy. We even got to celebrate with cake at the end, and who doesn’t love cake.
Read MoreMeet Hannah, who came to the studio when she was already close to 4 weeks old. Even though she was on the older end of the “newborn photography” spectrum, she was a dream baby to photograph! She slept the entire time and was perfectly content anywhere I posed her: beanbag, moon prop, even the silver bucket. She also had the most adorable little cheeks and baby rolls along her back when she was all curled up, and that is certainly one benefit of being an older newborn!

Foxy is now a big 8 year old, and he and I had a wonderful time taking updated pictures of him and his new hair style looking more grown up. He had a great attitude for spending an evening with me and we had fun with some silly photos in the process of him jumping, pinching the mountains, and “punching” the camera.
