Dahlia was a little shy when she first arrived for her first birthday photo session, but she did a great job at trying the new props, chairs, and even cake! Plus her parents were troopers for remaining calm and before we knew it we had a happy baby who showed us a few sneaky smiles and gave her cake a fair chance.

She came in for 6 month baby milestone pictures and while everyone was here, we also included a few sibling photos and full family portraits. Nandini was truly one happy baby during our time and we captured so many smiles!
Read MoreThis sweet girl has had quite the wild ride since her birth in mid February. She was early for her April due date and spent several weeks in the NICU and then was on oxygen while at home. Her parents still wanted to capture some baby pictures as best we could even with this alert and wide eyed girl, and I think we came away a wonderful mix of portraits that show how much she’s grown and yet still got a few newborn-type images to make a beautiful gallery for a beautiful girl.
Read MoreRowan took his first birthday theme to heart as he truly was “One Happy Boy!” He smiled and laughed during our entire session and I had such fun with him and his parents as we captured these first birthday memories. He loved the balloons, all the special chairs, and most certainly being held by his parents for their family portraits. Plus his cake was truly smashed!

We’ve done previous birthday sessions for the girls, and it was fun to see how much the sisters have grown and watch their personalities interact with each other. Avril did a butterfly theme with both pinks and fairies, and it was the perfect girly mix for her and her sisters.
