Emmie and her family came in this weekend to celebrate her big first birthday with a butterfly themed session and a fabulous cake smash. Her favorite part by far was a cake all to herself, where she even grabbed it with both hands and went in for a few bites face first.

I can’t believe that this sweet girl is almost a whole year old! I have known her family since her very first photography debut for her newborn session, and have so enjoyed seeing her and her mom throughout this past year. Mackenzie just gets cuter each time, and I’m proud to say we got true genuine smiles and she actually warmed up to me by the end of this final session.
