A Perfect Spring Evening for Senior Pictures
After having to reschedule because of cloudy weather, Tiffany's senior session couldn't have been more worth the wait. We were treated to warm temperatures, beautiful golden light, and one of those unforgettable Colorado sunsets that make spring evenings so special.
It was such a pleasure getting to know Tiffany and her family as they celebrated this exciting season before graduation.
Starting by the Water
We began the evening at one of my favorite hidden lakeside locations in Southeast Aurora.
Tiffany's first outfit featured a fun dress paired with cowboy boots—one of my favorite combinations! In my opinion, every girl needs a great pair of boots, and they looked absolutely perfect against the peaceful water flowing over the rocks into the lake.
For her second look, she changed into a classic white top and jeans, giving us a completely different feel while still taking advantage of the beautiful lakeside scenery. One of my favorite images from the entire session happened on a dock, where the evening light reflected across the water in the most magical way.
Ending with Colorado Mountain Views
As the sun began to lower, we headed to another favorite hidden location known for its incredible sunset views.
We spent some time among the towering pine trees before making our way to an overlook where the mountains created a stunning backdrop. The warm evening light wrapped beautifully around Tiffany, creating some of the softest portraits of the session.
For her final outfit, Tiffany changed into a beautiful blue top that paired perfectly with the first signs of spring. Yellow daffodils, blooming pear trees, and fresh greenery added just the right amount of seasonal color to complete her gallery.
Celebrating Spring in Colorado
Spring in Colorado is such a beautiful time for senior sessions. Between the blooming flowers, fresh green landscapes, longer evenings, and comfortable temperatures, it's a wonderful season for seniors who want natural outdoor portraits before graduation.
This session was the perfect reminder of how quickly Colorado transforms as winter gives way to spring.

The evening ended with an incredible sunset over the Rocky Mountains and some of my favorite images from the entire session.
