I had another set of cousins in the studio this week for updated portraits. One of them is at my house all the time for sleepovers, playdates, etc. as she’s friends with one of my children, and it was such fun to get to take her photos with her two older cousins for a very special gift for grandparents.
Read MoreBrynlee was a tiny little one in the studio this past week, weighing in at maybe 4 pounds. She also was a terrific sleeper and I was able to pull out my little cup prop that really only fits preemies like her. After meeting her parents during their maternity photo session, it was such a joy to see them again and meet Brynlee for these special photos.
Read MoreIt’s been a year since I last saw this sweet girl and Amara has grown into one truly happy baby! She was all smiles during her first birthday session, and she enjoyed tasting cake, crawling around, and bopping the balloons. A great way to spend a birthday!
Read MoreCooper was such a wonderful little chunk for his big newborn photo debut! I could already see so much of his personality as Cooper spent most of the session gazing at me or my studio light. But he was also so peaceful and calm about it that it sure brought a smile, and you better believe by the end I’d used every ounce of my baby whisperer charms to get him to sleep for those special, final photos on the beanbag.

It took a few minutes for her to warm up but then it was all smiles, pure joy, and overall LOVE for her gorgeous butterfly cake! And she is one of those few awesome babies who dove in face first a few times which always adds an extra layer of fun!

I had such fun gathering all my hearts, pink props, flowers, and some of my Valentine décor to make her session special and it was a joy bringing it all together for her newborn session.
