Alexa's Maternity Sneak Peek
We had the most perfect night for Alexa’s evening maternity session! The sunset was amazing with so many colors and we could feel spring warming the air as it wasn’t as cool of an evening as past weeks. Alexa and her husband rocked all their photos together to celebrate this special time before their first little joins them at the end of the month.
Alexa had a great navy blue maternity dress and she and her husband both wore fun converse sneakers. I love those little details like the shoes that show a couple’s personality! We made sure to walk around the area to get several of the couple together and some of just Alexa and her adorable baby bump.
She also was so fun to work with as she was open to different locations and poses, but had also send me some of her favorite inspiration pics beforehand. Those are always so helpful to see what a client envisions so I can be sure to bring those elements to a session and then tweak them slightly so they become unique to the individual and have a bit of their own personality flair.
We walked over to the mountain lookouts on two separate occasions as the sky and sun were constantly changing as it set. We had spectacular colors and clouds the entire evening! We also walked down the hill a short ways to an area with tall native grasses and those ended up being some of my favorites as they created a perfect setting with the dramatic sky and the beautiful landscape.
I am so excited for this couple to welcome their baby soon! Only a few short weeks left and then I’ll get to see them in the studio for their newborn session. So enjoy this special maternity peek and before you know it, baby will be here!
