Avery's Newborn Sneak Peek
This sweet little girl arrived early for her newborn photo debut! She had the best chubby cheeks and a big sister who absolutely adores her. I had such fun with this family capturing their newest family member and preserving these special newborn memories for them last week.
Avery’s sister had a beautiful purple and blue dress that she wanted to wear for the photo session, so we coordinated Avery’s props and headbands to match. I love the purple and blue combination for girls, and both of them looked lovely in the bright jewel colors.
We captured several special sister photos during our time as Riley was so enthusiastic about helping and holding her sister. It’s not every day that I have an older sibling as carful as Riley, so not only did we do the normal sibling photos, but she got to hold her sister on her lap for one, too, along with being in all the family photos.
Avery loved being swaddled and was such a good little sleeper all the way through the big props like the hot air balloon and twig bed. She even let me tuck her into the heart bowl for a few of her completely relaxed.
Right as I got to the posed beanbag pictures, Avery started searching for food, so we took a break so she could eat while I finished setting up our final blankets. She had those darn hiccups afterwards that kept our session a little longer, but she wasn’t angry or upset over them, just awake. After those passed she once again let me fly though the final poses and I love how utterly relaxed she was at the end with arms overhead or gently resting on her belly.
It was so wonderful to meet this family and be part of such a special time. Congrats on your new sweet baby girl and I hope to see you all again!
