Tara's Newborn Sneak Peek
This sweet little girl was truly an angel to work with during her newborn session last week. She was so sleepy and snuggly that we were able to do several props and poses plus the froggie pose at the end of our time in not just one, but two hats! I loved the blue and purple combination, too, which lent to a few winter details here and there. Overall just a truly fun morning spent in the studio!
Tara was still so tiny and had the most adorable little pouty lips and red blonde hair. I had a lot of fun prepping for her session in the blue and purple colors, adding in some flowers and snowflakes to some of the moon photos and bucket pictures.
She got to try out my new blue and purple newborn skirt and peacefully slept through all of her moon photos and bucket pictures. Her parents had brought in a little stuffed animal dog that resembles their pet at home, and I love capturing those photos that show how tiny Tara is in comparison. It will be fun to use that stuffy over this next year to show how much she grows.
Tara didn’t mind being wrapped in a swaddle, laying on her tummy, in a bucket, or on her back. She was so deeply asleep I got to take those extra steps to adjust her fingers and toes and she was a photographer’s dream model.
I also save the froggie pose to the end as it either wakes up babies and makes them mad, or wakes them up just enough to think about eating. Her parents had a cute little hat they brought for that photo, and after easily capturing it, I got to play around with the pose even more and take a few pictures with the white flower hat and adjust her tiny toes. So fun!
I had such a blast with this little girl last week and I wish her family congrats on such a sweet little baby. I hope to see you all again soon!
