Lionel's Newborn Sneak Peek

Lionel was such a sweetheart during his big newborn photo session. He was still tiny at about 2 weeks old and we were able to capture so many classic newborn pictures along with holiday images for Christmas.

Our first set up was the twig bed decked out in green and tans with some greenery and lights. For a few images we added some holiday elements like a sign that said “baby it’s cold outside”, or adding a festive red and white sleepy cap.

Then I got to try out my brand new holiday bucket decor. Lionel was a perfect model for a gingerbread bucket, again with his red and green knit hat, and also a few with forest animals in blue and white.

Lionel loved being swaddled during his family photos and he flashed a few quick smiles when mom and dad were holding him. I snagged a few but overall he just loved the warm room and being wrapped, which meant I got to play around with adding props and caps. Plus I had even more fun when editing by adding some snow elements or holiday bokeh lights.

We ended with poses on the bean bag where we got a mix of both classic colors in blue and tan, but also several for Christmas with sleepy caps and pops of green. Lionel truly was a fantastic little sleep the entire time and was still super pleasant when it was time to end our time together.

It was such fun to get to start off the holiday season with such special photos! Enjoy this little peek into Lionel’s newborn session!
