Studio News: Winner of 4 Medals with the 13th Annual International Color Awards

I am excited to announce that I received awards and international recognition for 4 of my entries into the 13th Annual International Color Awards. I submitted several images last October to be considered and judged, and am exceptionally excited to have placed with four photos in the Children of the World and Americana categories. All 4 images are also of my own children, which makes it especially meaningful. There were 6,093 entries last year, and I received 1/586 of the coveted title awards and 4/881 of the nominees. My images will be featured in the virtual Winners Gallery opening April 1, 2020 as well as published in the WINNERS BOOK, a digital sourcebook featuring curated collections of the award winning photography, which will be released in May 2020.

As a personal note, this is truly a bright spot for me as our world lives through these uncertain times of change and social distancing. Many of us photographers are navigating new uncharted waters as we must reevaluate sessions for client safety. I personally aim to use this time to perfect technical skills, learn new poses for newborns, and further my photography education with online courses. I hope that we can continue to connect with one another even when physical distance is appropriate, and share in the joys that still exist all around us.
