Blair's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Blair was back in the studio, this time to celebrate her big first birthday! She had two adorable dresses all fluffed up with petticoats, a festive red and pink balloon wall, and got to eat icing off her very own smash cake. What a way to celebrate!

Her mom had the most perfect little dresses for Blair, and we started with a fun pink dress with tulle shirt that really coordinated with the pink and red balloon wall. Blair needed some time to warm up to the studio, but after playing with the pearls for a bit and a few peek-a-boo games, she had several sneaky smiles to share.

She also is newly walking and was able to stand all by herself, an accomplisment that made her very proud. She would stand next to a stool for support then just let go and slowly wobble over to us with a big grin!

We then changed Blair into a frilly pink dress with rainbow sparkly polka dots and got her cake smash ready with the sweet shoppe background. I love this background for birthdays and it’s so fun with a donut grow up theme, ice cream props, or just for eating cake!

Blair preferred the icing and was a dainty little eater, but she did make a little dent in her beautiful pink and blue cake. Plus she save her best smiles for the grande finale when she stood again next to her cake, grinning at us as she’d come over with pink frosting on her fingers.

A huge happy birthday to this sweet girl! I’m so glad I got to be part of such a special day.
